Recently, three charter schools in Georgia that are publicly financed by the movement of the leading Turkish imam, Fethullah Gulen, were scrutinized. This happened because the schools defaulted on bonds. The scrutiny discovered the improper grants from these educational institutions to some of the groups and businesses that are closely connected to the Gulen movement. The grants are at the rate of about hundreds of thousands of dollars.
