New Tests

A new wave of indignation was recorded in England. The National Association of Head Teachers opposed this year tests for the 11-year-old pupils (SAT test).  They stated that such tests were just a waste of money that could be better used for teachers’ training.

The conference on this issue reported a unanimous decision of the Head teachers to forbid those tests. They stated if they were not trusted to teach punctuation and spelling, they would refuse to cooperate with any further tests.
