Achieving higher education is on what the U.S. Department of Education focuses. In continuing the quest to help America to lead the world again in college graduates from the department has invited the community for higher education to be able to get the best practices. In addition, The U.S. Department of Education has issued a notice to call for any information regarding promising activities and practices that had helped out in improving the rates of transfer, post secondary progress and graduation. They give special focus on the various strategies that give emphasis to the quality of what the students are going to learn. Moreover, they want to promote the fastest and most effective way of attaining certificates or degrees that include the quality industry-recognized credentials that would further lead the students to various employments. The Department optimizes the accessibility of their department through creating a website that will provide the functionality to different practitioners and schools to be able to get methods in boosting college completion. Furthermore, the department is posting the materials submitted by the professional experts regarding U.S. colleges to attain higher education in a real time manner. The symposium was held in response to the overall initiative by the Obama’s Administration to elevate the number of Americans, who will be able to earn postsecondary degrees and certificates.
